Together, we will broaden our understanding of what it means to educate in a rapidly-evolving digital world and think together about how we prepare a rising generation to meet the moral and intellectual challenges of the modern age.

Last spring, Tikvah hosted an inaugural summit for Jewish day school leaders, a watershed event that awakened and galvanized our broader community regarding this impact of screens on our children. Since our summit, dozens of Jewish day schools went phone-free and committed to cultivating healthier communal norms related to technology usage.
Our welcome reception will begin at 12pm Sunday, March 23rd. We will conclude at 2pm Monday, March 24th.
Our strong preference is for heads of schools to attend. If he or she is unable to make it, please be in touch with us directly and we can discuss alternative arrangements.
Yes, participation in the summit will cost $360/participant.
While we cannot cover full travel expenses, we will offer a stipend to school leaders planning to come in via air travel.
We are looking to convene schools that recognize the harms of recreational technology and that earnestly want to adopt new policies.

Yes – we plan to address a variety of issues around technology so there will likely be areas in which this summit can add value. Additionally, it is helpful for school leaders to learn from other leaders who have already implemented change.
